In celebration of the launch of Monsters, Inc. on Blu-ray, Disney Interactive has dropped the price of Monsters, Inc. Run from $0.99 to the low, low price of free! For a limited time, players can download the side-scrolling platformer at no cost, and also experience a brand new game update in the process.The update brings a new environment called Desert Canyon to the game, complete with 16 levels and a new pair of monsters: Charlie and George. Just as Mike and Sully behave differently than one another, so too do Charlie and George, challenging players to learn their play styles as they complete the game's new courses.
What's more, new jetpacks, ray guns and enemy monsters have also been packed into the update. The main goal(s) still remain the same however: to beat your high score in each endless run, or to save Boo from danger by completing established levels.
Monsters, Inc. Run will only be free for a limited time, so make sure to download the game to your iPhone or iPad as soon as you can to get in on the promotion!
