With the launch of the Fertilizer Bin in FarmVille 2, a new series of eight quests have been released to push us through this event. These "Sweet Smell of Success" quests don't look to have a time limit as of this writing, but we're here with a quick guide to help you getting started in this series. Let's go!A Dirty Secret
- Place a Fertilizer Bin
- Harvest 10 Tomatoes
- Tend 2 Wells
The Fertilizer Bin doesn't need to be built to complete this quest - the base just needs to be placed on your farm to get started. As for the Tomatoes, these take just 10 coins and one minute to grow. The Wells task will be the one that can trip you up here, as Wells can only be harvested once every four hours. When you finish this first quest, you'll receive 400 coins and 20 XP.
Down and DirtyCollect 5 Composting Gloves
- Harvest 2 Pine Trees
- Make 1 Fertilizer Rake
Shovel Ready!
- Finish 1 Fertilizer Bin!
- Feed 5 Adult Chickens
- Tend 1 Fertilizer Bin
If you've yet to complete the building of your Fertilizer Bin, make sure to check out our complete guide to doing so to get caught up. Every time you feed adult animals after you've finished the Fertilizer Bin, you'll add "Compost" to the item, and will need to feed enough animals to eventually fill up the Compost meter. Once that's done, you'll use your new Fertilizer Rake to actually tend the building and finish this quest.
