If you like hidden object games, but you don't like the same cliched themes of spooky mansions or crowded store fronts, you can now turn your own images into hidden object scenes via 6waves' Hide n Find on iOS. This free-to-play multiplayer game sees you challenging your friends to finding items in your own photos through a pretty simple setup. The game allows you to take a picture on the fly, or pull one out of your phone's albums, and it creates a square image from the basic picture.The more complex your initial image, the harder it will be for your friends to find your hidden items, and vice versa. At the beginning of each round, you'll be able to create the objects that your friends need to search for by highlighting areas on the screen and typing in a name to identify them. Your friends then need to find the items that you've "hidden," and then they can create an image of their own.
These highlighted areas can be moved around if you place them in the wrong spot, or even resized so that you can select a very small item in a crowded picture.
Since Hide N Find is played using your own images, you're restricted to just playing with your Facebook friends in order to keep your privacy intact. Still, we'll have a complete review of this hidden object game with a twist in the near future, so stay tuned!
