If you were wondering why the Winter Holiday Feast event ended so early in ChefVille, with five days still remaining before Christmas, today's in-game update will likely answer that question. Over the next 12 days, players will have a chance to cook six new holiday-inspired dishes and earn a Spice Stand at the end. This Spice Stand will help players earn more spices and mastery stars, but everything needs to be "unlocked" first.This event comes with a single quest, and we'll try to run through the required tasks as best as we can. It can be a confusing, but stick with us and we'll help you through!

The Holiday Spice Oven can be purchased from the store for 1,000 coins. It doesn't require any building, but all six dishes within it are locked. You'll need to unlock each one between now and December 31, with one dish becoming available to unlock every two days, starting on December 23.To be specific, this first dish is already available to unlock. It's the "Holiday Spiced Chicken," and it requires six Cloves and six Allspice to unlock. The Cloves are earned via a general news post on your wall, while the Allspice is earned through specific requests sent to your friends. Once you've collected these items, the Holiday Spiced Chicken will be available to cook within the Holiday Spice Oven using one Clove, one Allspice and one Chicken. The dish itself takes 10 minutes to cook, but again, you can only cook it once you've unlocked it.
More dishes will be unlocked on December 23, 25, 27, 29, and 31, and if you can unlock all six dishes before the event ends in 12 days, you'll receive the Spice Stand for your restaurant. A lot of this event is still up in the air, but we'll make sure to update this space when we we learn more about the other five locked dishes and how to unlock them. Stay tuned!
