Cohen produced DreamWorks hit Despicable Me and joins executive producer David Maisel of Iron Man fame. The two will work together to ensure that the Angry Birds film sees the light of day, which shouldn't be much of a problem. You see, Rovio also announced that it will finance the film itself.
The main reason for this is for Rovio to have 100 percent creative control. That should be comforting, because who knows what would have happened if another film house took over. Just look at the Marvel films before Iron Man and after. And based on Cohen's experience, fans should let loose a sigh of relief: He's worked on Ice Age, Robots and Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who.
