This week, Aunt Tabitha makes a return to Littlehaven and has an all-new surprise in The Sims Social. This time, she bestows keys to a beautiful Winter Chalet, and has asked you to pack our bags and jet off to Winterhaven to stop in for a visit and to help out cousin Vicky. The Winter Chalet is in risk.Vicky is hounded by big-time developers looking to replace it with a high-end luxurious resort. You need to fully renovate it so that you can keep it intact, so hurry along and do your part to restore the place and keep all the childhood memories alive. This is the first part of a three-part quest guide. If all three weeks are completed on time, not only will you get the Winter Chalet but also an awesome sleigh. Below is a step-by-step guide to completing the first portion of the three week quest, thanks to The Sims Social team at Playfish.
Step 1 - Saving The Chalet
- 'It's Gonna Be OK!'
- Open the chalet!
- Clear boxes three times
Visit the Winter Chalet by clicking on the location on the map and then click on Vicky and select the option 'It's Gonna be OK!' Then, click on the main entrance of the Winter Chalet to open its doors! Next go ahead and click on three boxes and clear them. Rewards: 20 LP, 30 Coins, 20 XP, 2 Energy, Childhood Dreams
Step 2 - Saving The Chalet 2
- Has Alan talked about me? Ask him 'What's Up?'
- 'Ponder Pool Designs'
- Click on the pool and finish the first step!
Locate Alan! He'll be hanging around the Winter Chalet. Click on him and ask him 'What's up?' To 'Ponder Pool Designs!' Click on your Sim and select that option. Rewards: 30 LP, 40 Simoleons, 30 XP, 2 Energy, Water
Step 3 -Saving The Chalet 3
- Uncover the Videre Gold Edition Binoculars and finish rebuilding it!
- 'Search for Yeti!'
- Investigate four mysterious footprints
Click to uncover the Gold Edition Binoculars and gather all required collectibles. Once complete click on the binoculars to search for a Yeti! Do this three times. If you don't see any mysterious footprints around the chalet, comeback in a while. Rewards: 40 LP, 50 Simoleons, 40 XP, 2 Energy, Black Granite
Step 4 - Saving The Chalet
- Click on the Mon Visage Vanity Table and finish rebuilding it!
- 'You Look Great!'
- Finish the first stage of the swimming pool in the Winter Chalet
Complete the vanity table by completing all stages and then click on Vicky and select the option 'You Look Great!' Complete the first stage of the swimming pool by finishing the four required steps. Rewards: 50 LP, 50 XP, 60 Simoleons, 2 Energy, Old Key
Step 5 - Saving The Chalet 5
- 'Remember When...?'
- Collect memories
- Complete stage two of the pool in the Winter Chalet
Click on Alan and select the option 'Remember When...?' You can collect memories by interacting with items in the Winter Chalet or ask friends! Complete stage two of the Winter Chalet pool by finishing the seven required steps. Rewards: 50 LP, 60 Simoleons, 50 XP, 2 Energy, Bottle of Chlorine
Step 6 - Saving The Chalet
- Collect eight childhood dreams
- Complete all stages of the pool in the Winter Chalet!
- 'Relax'
If you cannot find any childhood dreams, ask friends to send you some. Complete the third and final stage of the pool by completing the final set of seven steps. Then click on the airbed and select the option 'Relax'. Rewards: 75 LP, 100 Simoleons, 75 XP, 2 Energy, Peace
