Since we're all wondering just what the hell an Angry Birds game revolving around Star Wars would be like, Rovio has posted the first-ever gameplay footage of the upcoming branded mobile game. In the video, Red Bird (starring as Luke Skywalker) and Pink Bird (playing as Princess Leia) show off their special abilities.Of course, Red Bird lets out a devastating flourish of his lightsaber to cut down pigs and any obstacles in the way. Pink Bird, on the other hand, sticks to a blaster to deal some damage. The video also shows off some of the scenes that Rovio have ripped straight from the films to transform into levels, like the Empire's attack on Hoth in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Yes, this writer is a self-admitted Star Wars nerd, and yes, consider him psyched.
