Based on the lengthy teaser trailer and what Rovio had to say, Bad Piggies looks like a cross between what made Angry Birds so addictive and Amazing Alex so brain-tickling. In order to collect the three stars within each level on the way to the finish line, you must create a suitable makeshift machine in order to get the pigs there. This form of thrown-together transportation can be anything from a rocket-propelled boxcar to a homemade hot air balloon.
"As far as the gameplay goes, Bad Piggies and Angry Birds are complete opposites," Rovio EVP of Games Petri Järvilehto told Y! Games. "Angry Birds smash things up, Bad Piggies build stuff. The pigs are all about making plans and building things, even--and especially--when they don't work!"
Bad Piggies is due out on iOS, Android, PC and Mac on Sept. 27 (and likely for varying price tags). Click here to learn more.
