The lovely worlds of reality TV and Facebook gaming collide once more. This time, however, it's all about the ladies--well, a certain breed of ladies. Bravo and Eyes Wide Games have officially released Real Housewives: The Game on Facebook. The social game take on the infamous, mega popular reality show ropes players into the "high-class, high-fashion and high-drama" world of Real Housewives of New York City.Like any good social game, players can create and customize their very own characters and interact with various characters--including their friends' custom-made housewives. As they progress, players will get to befriend or start rivalries with cast members like Ramona and Lu Ann. According to a release, players' relationships with these key characters will affect which elite parties they'll be able to attend.
Designed to emulate the themes of the hit show, players will have to collect and leverage "buzz" and "style" to get ahead in the New York social scene. However, this is also an attempt at getting players to play along with the latest season of RHONY, so new topical quests will be released to the Facebook game the day after each new episode airs. Considering this is almost a perfect fit with the usual social game audience, this could be a hit. Well, a certain breed of the social game audience.
