For some time now, there's been a rumor floating around within the story of Hidden Chronicles concerning our virtual uncle and his quest to find the Master Chronicle. Now, this rumor has taken life as we're allowed to retrace Uncle Geoffrey's steps via a new Estate Map.
This feature is pretty complex, but basically boils down to you completing "map" quests via a large map that's located in the menu at the bottom of the gameplay area. You'll simply complete quests that are numbered by completing tasks that you're likely already familiar with: hiding packages on your friends' estates, completing specific scenes to earn trophies, asking your friends for items, building structures in your Manor and so on.
As you complete these quests, you'll receive puzzle pieces and will unlock more quests and prizes along the way. When you reach certain landmarks in completing quests, you'll also receive items for your Manor. Once you've completed 11 quests, for instance, you'll receive the Guardian Gate for your Manor, along with 850 coins and 330 XP. That's a pretty big chunk of XP when compared to how many you normally receive for finishing a single quest.
Eventually, you'll be able to complete puzzles within these quests. Hot on the Trail 2 requires you to play a puzzle within the Secluded Tree House, while Hot on the Trail 8 uses the puzzle within the Secluded Windmill.
Throughout it all, we'll be uncovering information about the Master Chronicle, which is apparently hidden somewhere on our own Estates. As we learn more about the Master Chronicle or even more about the Estate Map, we'll make sure to let you know. Stay tuned!
