Way back in December of 2011, mayors everywhere were given the opportunity to build a set of Wind Farms in their CityVille towns, with this energy-producing structure allowing them to increase their energy cap by up to five points. If five points isn't enough for you, and your city demands a higher constant output of energy from you (let's face it, we could all use the extra energy), you can now earn an additional point via the new Wind Farm upgrade.Unfortunately, you'll need to put out a ton of effort to receive a fairly small prize on the other side, as upgrading your Wind Farm requires you to collect 40 building materials:
- 8 Silver Windvane
- 8 Silver Petitions
- 8 Silver Towers
- 8 Silver Blades
- 8 Silver Brake Pads
These items are earned through a combination of general requests posted to your wall and individual requests sent to your friends. For collecting all of these items, the Wind Farm's energy output will increase from five points to six. You'll also receive five energy points and a Zoning Permit as rewards that are specific to the construction of this upgrade. Other than that, you're looking at just one more energy point added to your cap, which may or may not be worth the effort, depending on how desperate you are for energy in your town.
