Zynga has partnered with Disney / Pixar to bring the upcoming film Brave to our Kingdoms in CastleVille via new limited edition items and a nine-part quest series entitled simply: Brave. Here's a complete look at these Brave quests and how to complete them, earning plenty of rewards along the way.
Wisps
- Investigate the Blue Wisp
Rewards: 500 coins, 10 XP
Meeting Merida
- Place the Archery Tent
- Craft 1 Fresh Sweet Cake
- Spend 15 Energy in your own Kingdom
The Fresh Sweet Cake is crafted inside your Archery Tent, which luckily doesn't require any building to complete. You can collect two Sticks of Butter, six Sugar, eight Honey and two Moist Naps to craft one, with the Moist Naps being earned via a general news post on your wall. You'll receive 500 coins, 10 XP and a Quiver of three Hefty Arrows for finishing this quest.
Like Merida
- Place the Tournament Target
- Use the Quiver of Hefty Arrows
- Have 3 Humectant
Yvette wants to be just like Merida, so you'll need to post a general news item on your wall for the Humectant to help with her hair. Meanwhile, just click on the Tournament Target to use the arrows you already have in your inventory. You'll earn 500 coins, 10 XP and a Female "Hairstyle like Merida's which can be used to decorate your avatar.
Perfecting Practice
- Craft 2 Quivers of Flimsy Arrows
- Use 3 Quivers of Flimsy Arrows
- Buy 3 Brave Decorations
The Flimsy Arrows are crated inside the Archery Tent using eight Wood, two Arrowheads, three Green Feathers (ask friends for them) and three Animal Bones. A single quiver gives you three arrows. You'll earn 750 coins and 15 XP for finishing this quest.
Good, Better, Best
- Craft 3 Quivers of Lightweight Arrows
- Use 4 Quivers of Lightweight Arrows
- Have 4 Best Attitude Awards
The Lightweight Arrows won't become available to craft until you've finished the "Perfecting Practice" quest above. While you're working on that, you can post a news item to your wall asking for the Best Attitude Awards. You'll earn another 750 coins and 15 XP for completing this quest.
New Horse Smell
- Build a 2nd Archery Tent
- Craft 3 Quivers of Hefty Arrows
- Win 1 Celtic Horse in the Archery Tournament
The second Archery Tent can be built by collecting three Leather, eight Wood Planks, two Knives and 10 Tent Stakes. You can ask your friends for the Wood Planks and Tent Stakes, while the other two items must be crafted or purchased with Crowns. To win the Celtic Horse, you'll need to accumulate 80 total points in the Archery Tournament. You'll receive 750 coins and 15 XP for completing this quest.
Bullseye
- Harvest 6 Carrots
- Craft 2 Quivers of Heavyweight Arrows
- Feed 12 Sheep
Rewards: 1,000 coins and 20 XP
Sticky Fingers
- Craft 1 Faux Bear Rug
- Fish 5 Times
- Win the Forest Den in the Archery Tournament
The Faux Bear Rug is crafted inside your Archery Tent, while the Forest Den is won after accumulating 200 points in the Archery Tournament. You'll earn another 1,000 coins and 20 XP for completing this quest.
Farewell, Merida
- Win 1 of all of the rewards in the Tournament
- Craft 4 Hard Boiled Eggs
- Have 10 Traveler's Pouches
The Pouches come from a general news post on your wall, and you can craft the Hard Boiled Eggs in your Kitchens while waiting for these to be sent. When you complete this final quest in the Brave series, you'll receive 1,000 coins, 20 XP and a Mossy Bridge.
