In Pokémon Dream Radar, players will get to hunt down and capture the pocket monsters as they appear in their real world surroundings. Those captured critters will then be transferred to the player's full game, just as it should be. Remember when you threw around toy Pokéballs at your Pokémon plush toys, just hoping that they'd get sucked inside? (That was only me, huh?)
That's basically what this special 3DS app will allow ... only within the confines of your game screen. Hey, this is as close to the real deal as we're ever going to get--that is, until true virtual reality becomes a thing that actually exists. According to Kotaku, some of the monsters will be easier to catch via Pokémon Dream Radar, as if you needed any more incentive to use the thing. Oh, how we yearn to be kids again.
