After a long day out on the homestead in Pioneer Trail, chopping down trees and tending to crops and animals, what better way could you find to relax than to sit back with a cold brew from the saloon and a nice sweet treat to eat? We've already taken care of the saloon part, but what about those treats? Well, now you can take care of that too by building your very own Dream Bakery on your Homestead. This feature is available to users that have reached at least Level 14, and it brings a new crop to the game: Huckleberry.To finish your Dream Bakery you need to collect just one set of building ingredients. You can have up to three on your Homestead, but will technically only need one to complete this feature's accompanying goals. To be extra clear, these Bakeries can't be upgraded, and you'll need to build each of the three one at a time by collecting more and more materials for each one. Here's the requirements for a single Dream Bakery:
- 5 Cooling Racks
- 5 Bread Pantries
- 5 Pie Plates
- 5 Signage
- 5 Striped Awnings
- 5 Conveyor Belts
Each of these items can be earned by asking your friends to send them to you or by purchasing them with Horseshoes. As for the goals, they'll introduce you to the new items you can craft in your Dream Bakery, and will reward you with some boosts, trees and more along the way.
Stock N Roll
- Place & Finish Dream Bakery
- Tend 65 Chickens
- Harvest 50 Peach Trees
Rewards: 75 XP, 7,500 coins, 1 Red Eye Boost
Nettie's Bakery Supply
- Harvest 20 Beets or Pink Beets
- Tend 50 Adult Geese
- Make 2 Mixed Sugar in the Dream Bakery
The Mixed Sugar is an item that takes just ten minutes to craft, but requires 11 ingredients to create: five Sweet Beet Juices (drop when tending beets), three Refined Sugars and three Confection Sugars (both of these come from friends). When you collect enough ingredients to create two Mixed Sugars, you'll receive 125 XP, 2,000 coins and three Almond Trees for finishing this goal.
Granny's Secret Recipe
- Chop Pine Trees 20 Times
- Harvest 100 Apricot Trees
- Bake 2 Cowpoke Cookies in the Dream Bakery
Rewards: 175 XP, 4,000 coins, three Giant Apricot Trees
Maypole Morning
- Harvest 10 Corn on a Neighbors' Homestead
- Tend 50 Adult Pigs
- Fry 3 Maypole Donuts
Rewards: 250 XP, 5,000 coins, 2 Boars
With a Cherry on Top!
- Tend 60 Adult Cows
- Harvest 30 Wheat
- Make 4 Cherry Creamcakes
Rewards: 350 XP, 6,000 coins, 5 Giant Cherry Trees
Huckleberry Revolution
- Harvest 100 Corn
- Harvest 40 Huckleberry (seeds are on the free gifts page)
- Make 4 Huckleberry Pies
Rewards: 500 XP, Quick Draw Quaff, Mystery Animal Crate
As you go along, you'll see that some of these crafting recipes require you to craft other items before they can be used to make the final product. Overall, this isn't something that's entirely foreign to Pioneer Trail, or even to other Zynga games, as we can have multiple crafting buildings (like a similar Kitchen) in CastleVille. It will be interesting to see how future features take advantage of this Dream Bakery (or don't), so stay with us for more.
