The crux of the deals is that both developers will release future games for mobile devices exclusively on GREE. The next installment of the "Girl" franchise is set to be revealed at the GREE booth during this year's E3 in Los Angeles. Deal or No Deal and 1 vs 100 will be iWin's first mobile games, and will likely channel their respective Facebook versions.
Within the announcement, both CrowdStar CEO Peter Relan and iWin VP of Publishing CJ Wolf share the same sentiment: The future of gaming is on mobile, and it's going to take both strong developers and networks to make it a reality. Both developers and GREE seem to believe that they have what it takes to bring mobile gaming more into the public eye than it already is.
Crowdstar's and iWin's commitment to the mobile games market and focus on high quality social games makes them the ideal partner for us," GREE SVP of Developer Relations and Marketing Eros Resmini said in a release. "We have huge respect for what they have achieved in the marketplace, and are excited to work with them to bring great games to users around the world."
