One has to wonder how long this little number took. Pop star Katy Perry recently recorded her hit single "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" entirely in Simlish to commemorate the release of a new content pack in The Sims 3 by EA. Scheduled to launch on June 5 and titled The Sims 3 Katy Perry's Sweet Treats, this new expansion will turn your Sims' town into a one lollipop short of a full-blown candy land.The expansion generally amounts to content updates, like new items, clothing options, hairstyles and venues--all of which are dessert-themed. For instance, players that buy Katy Perry's Sweet Treats will get access to items like a cupcake-style guitar, a banana-split sofa, a candy fountain and more. Outfits and hairstyles ripped straight from Perry's on-stage performances are featured in the content pack too.
Finally, three new venues await players that pick up Katy Perry's transformation of The Sims: Patty's Natural Baths (a creepily-named public pool), Bonbon Lawn Park (a public park gone Candy Land) and Cake Pleasure Dome (which is not at all what it sounds like ... we hope).
